Management Profile

Tadashi Sasano, Chairman

After his banking career at Sanwa Bank, predecessor of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Bank, Mr. Sasano assumed various executive positions at Chitose & Co., Ltd. which was founded in 1948 by his father.
Currently, he heads Chitose Group as Chairman and President. The main subsidiaries are Chitose Shipping Co. Ltd., Nagai Kaiun Kaisha, Ltd. and Mil Kosan Co., Ltd.. In the past, he headed international subsidiaries which operated in China, Taiwan, Singapore, United States and other countries as CEO of Chitose & Company International Corporation.
Mr. Sasano is Secretary General of the National Prayer Japan Small Group which is an off-shoot of the American Presidential Prayer Breakfast held in Washington, D.C..
In the past, he was Chairman of the All Japan Small Business Association which consists of about six thousand small to medium companies. Presently he is still associated with many of these member corporations.
